Nasamat Al Riyadh:

• Nasamat Al-Riyadh, KSA is a residential development in Saudi Arabia consisting of

approximately 4,000 housing units, commercial shopping areas, family activity areas,

schools, medical facilities, outdoor recreational areas, and institutional support.

• The site is approximately 320 hectares in size (800 acres) and approximately 1600

meters on four sides.

• The project will be developed in three phases starting in early 2009 and completed in

early 2014.

• Total project built up area SQMs 1.75 million

• The value of the project is approximately US$1.5 Billion for construction of infrastructure

and facilities.

 

PROJECT PROGRESS:

 

Main Project:

◦ There is still a great deal of information required to determine the final cost of the project

infrastructure.

◦ The actual design has not been finalized which has made it difficult for the owner to receive

bids from contractors.

 

Mock-up Villas:

◦ Mock-up Villas (103 & 106):

• Substructure: 100% complete except the Driver room.

• Superstructure: 100% complete except the Driver room.

• Block works: 70% complete.

• Internal Plaster works: 15% complete.

 

◦ Mock-up Villa (109):

• R.C. Footings: 100% Complete.

• R.C. Grade Beams: 100% Complete.

• G.FL. R.C. Columns: 100% Complete.

• 1st Floor R.C. slab: 100% Complete.

• Foundation: 100% complete

• Steel Structure: 90% complete.

• Roof coverage: 80% complete.

• Block works: 100% complete.

• Internal Plaster: 90% Complete.

• External Plaster: 70% Complete.

• False Ceiling works: 25% Complete.

• Gypsum Board Partitions: 10% Complete

• Grade Beams: 100% Complete.

• R.C. Columns: 60 % Complete.

• Block works: 60% Complete.

• Plaster works: 50% Complete.
